Hey y'all whoever reads my blog. I came across this really cool Butterfly Pendant. I love it for the simple and elegant design that goes easily with a lot of smart stuff. On our first night out! "Konnichi wa! Which line to Shinjuku/Shibuya/Roppongi?" followed by an "Arigato gozaimasu" is how our days used to start in the land of rising sun. monday morning events a few weeks back: I look haggard, my friends ask me if i didn't get enough sleep last night .. i lie first.. i say yes i didn't I am at my desk working and suddenly remember that it was probably Dudey's feeding time so i open up farmville. My heart skips a beat coz FV tells me Dudey has run away coz i didn't feed him on time, and i was unnecessarily upset. Farmville fans and my close friends will know exactly what i am talking about... back tracking a bit sunday night: i brave myself up to see yet another dog movie recommended by a fellow dog lover. I swore to god i am not watching a dog movie after 'Marley & me' but there is no way you can resist something like that... so the movie is reeling and my tear ducts draining.... i cry my way through the movie as was expected... and i go to work the next day looking like what i described. monday morning again: Friends ask "why the hell do you do this to yourself?" and i have no answ...

I’ve been wanting to go there for years now, thanks to the LTTE wipe out (for LTTE supporters, no offense but I am saying this purely in context of my plans for the trip) my Lanka dream was finally coming true. Tickets-check, bookings-check, numbers-check, shopping list-check … really bad co-passengers-was I supposed to check for this? I couldn’t wait to get off that Indian airlines flight not only because I was excited about Sri Lanka but because I wanted to be done with the smell of beer, sounds of my burping seatmate(I don’t know if that’s a word), and the sight of the same red-eyed seatmate staring at me. Nevertheless, I got off the flight and as friends, & fellow couchsurfers had briefed me the visa officials in Lanka actually smile at you and are friendly just like all the other people in the airport and the country itself. I loved Dudey and always will! If you have a pet or would love to have a pet ... i am guessing you would understand when i say its the best feeling to be woken up by a warm lick on your face... thats pretty much how my mornings would start... he used to wait for me to wake up just to come sit on my lap like a little boy (just that he wasnt really little in size), let me hug him and kiss him to my hearts content... and then bark me a bye when i take off for the day. I've always had these bouts to start posting on my blog but nothing really pushed me this bad till now. Dudey passed away on May 4 leaving all of us devastated. Devastated, frustrated and helpless. Helpless cause we didn't prevent it from happening... frustrated because we still couldn't do anything to the people who took him away from us. I've written to newspapers, complained to "animal welfare/protection organizations"... one obliged.. the others did not bother as yet... which is why my first rea...

I can see i have a few visits to my blog and the tool testing is going great! but the sad part is that i dunno how to make this blog more interesting. I am not great at writing, poetry or any of those fancy things that people put up on their blogs.... so excuse me for such a 'lathkor' blog like a true hyderabadi would say ;) I am gonna try and come up with ways of making this blog a lil more interesting and while I am at it you can ....
